Shutterless design

Traditional thermal cameras are working with a mechanical shutter. Airyn ATC-T01 has developed a thermal camera with shutterless design. The advantage of a shutterless design is uninterrupted video without any shutter noise, increasing the accuracy of body temperature measurement. Moreover, the shutterless engine has a faster startup time, less power consumption and a longer life expectation.

Multiple people detection

Airyn ATC-T01 thermal camera is specifically developed for human forehead temperature measurement. It will not give an alert on any other high temperature objects that appear in the field of view of the thermal camera. Airyn ATC-T01 can detect multiple people at the same time. 

Stand alone and network device

Airyn thermal camera can operate as a stand alone device. The two onboard HDMI ports make it possible to directly connect to external monitors. It can also connect to a network with the Gigabit RJ45 ethernet port. Airyn ATC-T supports RTSP streaming protocol.

Guidelines best screening results

To prevent false readings due to personal conditions it is recommended to let a person wait a couple of minutes before the screening takes place. An alternative option is to do a second reading with a clinical thermometer.

A distance of 0.8 – 1.5 meters away from the thermal camera will give the most accurate outcome.

Let persons form a queue while taking the social distancing rules into account and screen on an individual basis.

Use a tripod to place the thermal camera on at a height of 1.5 – 1.6 meter.
